Meet our Team

A company means a group of people.

FemAI’s understanding of the team extends beyond our internal capacities. We appreciate working with a core team of highly skilled individuals who trust each other, based in our Hamburg office and Berlin co-working space.

Ask Anna: Why do you work for FemAI ?

“It took me some time to realize that my biggest impact on creating the world I imagine comes through the activity we spend 80,000 hours of our life doing: work. With this realization and my passion for data science and research, I found the perfect match in FemAI. Two months into working with Alexandra, I discovered that my generalist profile and previous experience made the fit mutual. I work for FemAI because it offers meaningful work that I can contribute to through my expertise, provides future growth opportunities, and most importantly, gives me an ambitious team where I can have fun and be myself.”

Anna is FemAI’s first full-time employee, and the story of how we got to know her is so beautiful that we want to share it with you: Anna won a free ticket through a LinkedIn lottery for the Women+ in Data and AI conference. Alexandra was the brand ambassador and delivered the opening keynote. Anna was so convinced by the mission that she gathered her courage and asked Alexandra if there was a chance to collaborate. At FemAI, courage is rewarded, so we started working together on a joint research project. With her master’s degree in data science and several years of working experience, we are glad to have Anna in the team to push our mission.

Rhea is FemAI’s first angel investor. She has been part of the cap table since October 2024. As she strongly believes in FemAI’s impact, she started her operational role in February 2025. Rhea is responsible for communication, fundraising, and events. With her background in AI and sustainability, she is perfectly equipped to foster FemAI’s vision and investment strategy based on our AI product development path.

Ask Rhea: Why did you invest into FemAI?

“When I first met Alexandra, it wasn’t the first time I had questioned how we can reconcile the rapid pace of technological innovation with truly progressive values. But it was the first time I encountered a well-thought-out, actionable plan to make it happen.

While it’s crucial to highlight the biases and structural inequalities embedded in today’s AI systems, true leadership goes beyond critique—it provides solutions. Alexandra’s vision for FemAI was bold and uncompromising, yet deeply rooted in empathy and inclusivity. Her approach struck a rare balance between technological ambition and ethical responsibility.

I was immediately drawn to her determination to reshape the AI landscape—not just by pointing out what’s broken, but by building something better. Investing in FemAI was not just a business decision; it was a commitment to a future where artificial intelligence serves everyone, not just a small, privileged group.”

Ask Rhea: Why do you work at FemAI?

“Seeing Alexandra’s vision take shape, I quickly realized that simply investing in FemAI wasn’t enough—I wanted to be part of building it. The challenge of developing AI that actively challenges bias rather than reinforcing it requires more than funding; it demands hands-on commitment, strategic thinking, and a team willing to push boundaries. With my background in Data Science, Engineering, Business and Event Management, I knew I could contribute meaningfully, bridging the gap between responsible AI development and real-world impact. Working operatively at FemAI allows me to help shape a future where technology is not just innovative but also fair, inclusive, and truly transformative.”

We highly appreciate the trustworthy relationship with the team of Mira Vision to jointly build responsible AI that works for AI tool providers as well as for the users.

This picture shows MIRA Vision and our CEO Alexandra at the WEB SUMMIT 2025. Both Start-Ups were selected as part of the German (Mira) / Berlin (FemAI) Start-Up Delegation.

We are glad to be supported by Berlin Partners, the Berlin Start-Up incubator. In this picture, you see how Ali Gülermann discussed strategic milestones with our CEO and first angel investor on a Pitch Night organized by Berlin Partners. With his experience of building over 25 start-ups successfully, we are truly thankful for his contribution and trust in the ability of young women who believe they can change the world!

Imagine you become the one-stop-shop for responsible AI one day? Then, you need the best possible website to help users navigate the complexity of this constantly evolving space. AI Certification is key, but works only successful when people understand why responsible AI is a success factor. Working with William means putting ourselves in the shoes of our customers. With his expertise in building sales funnels and navigating consumers through a website, he helps the FemAITeam to stay clear headed and reminds us that we can maximize our impact if we stay as close as possible to our customers. From sharing an office co-incidentally to weekly meetings and a glossy website everyone loves – we are grateful to have you on board!

Robin Elias Alef is one of our major supporters within the external FemAI ecosystem. With his strong ties into politics, civil society movements and the music industry, he spreads the word of FemAI to support our CEO Alexandra on events such as the Bits&Pretzels 2024. Thanks to Robin, Alexandra and Rhea have met. Thanks to Robin, we met our first customer Mira. Key individuals like you are groundbreaking for early-stage start-ups like FemAI and we are extremely grateful for your support!

In the early days, our CEO Alexandra decided to kick-off the concept of FemAI’s AI Certification Platform with a team of responsible AI researchers and a senior management team to set the values and financials before getting into the actual product development phase. For this, Morgan Williams and Payal Padhy have worked at FemAI as freelancers for 5 months. Morgan has been a philosopher and ethical AI consultant for customers such as Meta for 4 years. Payal consults governments on intersectional feminism and AI for ages.

Hope is the teams’ emotional and identity coach. The AI Age is fast and the speed of change in FemAI high-paced. Sometimes this can be a challenge for us on an individual level. Hence, working with Hope allows us to grow from the inside to the outside, transform fast and easy into new roles and feel the gratefulness of our work.

In this picture you see Payal and Morgan on the left as well as our interim CFO Lukas Stockmann and interim CTO Ali Gülerman. In this set-up, the FemAI strategy to focus on certification was manifested in July 2024.

FemAI would not exist without Nicolas Reitmeier. Nicolas coached our CEO Alexandra through critical phases of the founding process. Sometimes, it’s about the people who have your back and believe in you when you don’t believe in yourself.
